Since 2017, exoIQ GmbH in Hamburg has been developing intelligently designed support systems that make physical work easier.
As part of the TTS Tooltechnic Systems Group, we benefit from the expertise of our sister companies such as Festool. Within the group, we are the development center for exoskeletons.
Physical activity in the workplace is valuable, but overload must be reduced. This keeps employees healthy and happy in the long term.

2025
Active back exoskeleton launched
The B900 active back exoskeleton is the right tool for noticeable back relief during lifting and carrying work as well as activities in a forward-leaning position. It offers the best balance of power assistance and freedom of movement on the market.
2023
Active shoulder exoskeleton in use since 2023
The S700 is the world's first active shoulder exoskeleton for industrial use that relieves strain on the neck and shoulder muscles.
2018
Development with strong partners
We have been developing exoskeletons together with TTS Tooltechnic Systems since 2018. Made in Germany: Developed in Hamburg, produced in Illertissen.

2014
Research as a foundation
Prof. Dr. Robert Weidner, Dr. Bernward Otten and Dr. Andreas Argubi-Wollesen have been working on exoskeletons since the end of 2014: they are part of the interdisciplinary junior research group smartASSIST, which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
